About AIIMS
AIIMS stands for All India Institute Of Medical Sciences which is among the most reputed public medical universities In India. It is run and managed by the Ministry Of Health and Family Welfare and it is also declared an Institute Of National Importance by the Government Of India. As per the data given by the government around 19 AIIMS has been established and 5 are expected to get operational by 2025 also proposals for 6 more AIIMS has been passed by the government. In India first AIIMS was established in 1956 to give proper medical treatment to people in an effective manner.
